Here we blog again! Blogging…you can’t search back very far before you realize this word would have bounced back with the phrase “No Results Found”. Wikipedia defines the word Blog as a discussion or informational site published on the World Wide Web and consisting of discrete entries (“posts”). Blog’s can be posted by individuals, small groups, or by “multi-author blogs” (MABs). Many blogs, such as ours, provide knowledgeable commentary on particular subjects. We also utilize the “multi-author blog” style (MABs) to not only introduce our readers to many horticultural subjects, but also to the many talented individuals within our staff.

awesome-blog-postBlog’s can consist of a plethora of content that may or may not interest the end reader. We have worked hard to blog on very timely, informational content that relates to horticulture, nature, and can be used as a resource for our readers and followers. As this blog season gets under way, we have lessened our frequency to more completely offer quality content and will be starting a new series of blog’s in March. This new series will cover many different topics related to the use of native solutions in place of traditional landscape designs. The first topic will cover alternatives to turf grass. The series will run monthly through September. In between we will continue to write on other lifestyle and landscape topics useful to our readers.

As our needs and landscapes evolve and we become more and more aware of the importance of native plants and the role they play in a healthier environment, it is critical to have a reliable source to guide, implement, and offer the correct suggestions to bring this most needed concept to a stronger reality. Mark M. Holeman, Inc. recognizes the value of such landscapes and has been designing and installing these principles for a number of years. We will continue to learn, invest, and educate our employees and clients as we create healthier, more sustainable landscapes.

We hope you have enjoyed our blog posts in the past. We also hope that you have realized the usefulness of our content, enjoyed meeting our many bloggers and will continue to read and follow us. We are working to make the world a more aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly place to live and enjoy life.

Let the blogging begin!
