Autumn is upon us. The leaves are beginning to turn
and the air is getting brisk. Now, is the perfect
time for planting trees, shrubs and spring bulbs.
Once the leaves have fallen our maintenance staff
is available for fall clean-ups and bedding your
gardens down for the winter.

Mark Holeman, Inc. is looking forward
to participating in the 2006 St. Margaret’s
Hospital Guild’s Decorators’ Show House.
This will be the sixth consecutive year that we
have created a garden to help raise money for Wishard
Hospital. Our 2004 and 2005 gardens both won the
Key and People’s Choice awards. The Indiana
Governor’s Residence at 4750 North Meridian
Street will be this year’s show house. It
will be open for touring April 29th – May
14th, 2006.
David Gorden recently attended the CLARB (Council
of Landscape Architecture Registration Boards) 2005
Annual Meeting in Los Angeles and the 2005 ASLA
Annual Meeting in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Blake Herbst, Landscape Architecture student at
Purdue University, recently joined the Mark Holeman
Design Team as an Intern.
Mark M. Holeman, Inc. is currently providing design
services and other assistance to the Binford Boulevard
Beautification effort undertaken by BRAG (Binford
Redevelopment and Growth). On October 1, 2005, a
planting day coordinated by Keep Indianapolis Beautiful
was held with over 700 volunteers, planting 130
trees and thousands of shrubs, perennials, ornamental
