About the Role
Entry level position for residential landscape maintenance; daily tasks are mowing, trimming, edging and weeding customer’s yards and flower beds. Maintain customer’s landscapes including lawns and beds per foremans, or leads, guidance.
Gather and remove litter or waste.
Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning sheers, loppers, hedge trimmers, and other landscape maintenance equipment as needed
Perform work requiring the use of hand tools, power tools, spray packs and mowing equipment to complete assigned tasks
Ensure company equipment is operated and maintained properly, including but not limited to initiating any action needed to remedy malfunctioning or unsafe equipment or report any issues to foreman
Prune or trim trees, shrubs or hedges, using shears or pruners
General housekeeping of truck and trailer
Work safely
Adhere to uniform and PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) guidelines
Understand and comply with all company policies
Regular attendance and punctual for scheduled shift
Perform other related duties as assigned
