One of Indianapolis’ oldest landscape companies has rebranded itself with a new name, new logo and new website. Mark M. Holeman Landscape is now Holeman Landscape Architects & Contractors.
“Clients sometimes get confused when they meet with us and think the person they are meeting with is Mark,” said Richard Blankenship, president. “The company has moved beyond Mark as our figurehead, and we felt it was time to re-brand our business for the future.
“We wanted to be recognized more as Holeman going forward. This maintains the strong recognition of the firm,” he said.
Mark Holeman founded the company in 1962, and went on to design, install and care for landscapes throughout central Indiana. Among the company’s better-known landscapes include Christian Theological Seminary and the Medical History Museum Garden.
The company has 25 full- and part-time employees.
The company rebranded in late 2024, 11 years after the founder retired and a year after his death.
